There is nothing better than sketching or painting outdoors. I am lucky in the North East of Scotland to have such beautiful surroundings on my doorstep.

The changing seasons ensure that the subject matter is never quite the same on any two excursions.

I enjoy conversing with dog walkers or other interested passers by. It is heartening to see how many people are interested in your work and stop to offer "encouragement".
